Salt water chlorination is the most popular means of sanitising pool water today, and with good reason.
It’s all about creating a healthy bathing environment, and that’s exactly what a HYDROKLOR chlorinator achieves.
Whenever the pool filter is in operation, chlorine is manufactured within the chlorinator cell housing, ensuring a constant input of free available chlorine to the pool. It’s healthier for you and your family, eliminating unpleasant tastes and odours whilst preventing eye, ear and skin irritations.
HYDROKLOR Chlorinators operate with a mild salt concentration of only 0.6%, approximately one sixth that of sea water.
As the slightly salinated water passes through the cell plates, a low voltage current is applied to it to produce sodium hypo-chlorite (liquid chlorine) which is then introduced into the pool to oxidise and remove impurities.
HYDROKLOR Chlorinators are economical to operate, consuming small amounts of electrical current with only infrequent additions of pool salt required to maintain concentration during the year.
